SCIENCE FAIR INFORMATION

5th-8th Grades - By the end of this week, all 5th-8th graders should have their Science Fair topics approved by their teachers and then they are encouraged to begin their experiments. The experiments need to be completed at home by the end of Spring Break. Upon returning to
school on April 7th, students are to bring the data from their experiments and their display boards. Students will then complete their display boards at school during Language Arts and Science classes. All students are required to complete a Science Fair project and will receive grades in Language Arts and Science classes. Science Fair packets have been given to the 5th-8th graders. If parents need another Science Fair packet, they are asked to contact the classroom teacher or School Office. K-4th Grades – Students in K-4th grades will receive Science Fair packets on Monday, March 24th. Participation by the K-4th graders is not required; however, students are strongly encouraged to participate. Students are to complete all parts of their project at home, including the experiment and display board. Specific information about the projects is included in the packet. Students in K-4th grades participating in the Science Fair will receive extra recess time.
