PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Pre-Kindergarten program is designed as a Kindergarten Readiness class. The program emphasizes development in the four areas of cognitive skills, language skills, motor skills, and social and emotional skills. Children participate in whole-group lessons, small group projects, and learning centers. These activities provide a multitude of educational experiences, accentuate the children’s different learning styles, and better prepare each of the children for Kindergarten.
Stepping Stones Academy Pre-Kindergarten class meets five mornings a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., except on designated holidays and vacation days. The class is limited to fifteen children.
All children must be four years old by September 1st and potty-trained to enroll. A child is officially registered for Pre-Kindergarten when all of the required paperwork is turned-in to the School Office and the $100.00
non-refundable registration fee is paid.
Enrollment is on a first come basis. When the class reaches its maximum number of fifteen children, Stepping Stones Academy begins a waiting list for children wishing to enroll. As openings become available, families are notified according to the order of the waiting list.
CLASS DAYS AND TIMES
The Pre-Kindergarten class meets five mornings a week, Monday through Friday, except on designated holidays and vacation days. Class times are from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
TUITION FEES
Tuition for the Pre-Kindergarten class is $350.00 per month. Payment is made each month in the School Office
with cash or a check. All checks are to be made payable to Stepping Stones Academy. The school does not accept debit or credit cards. When Stepping Stones Academy receives your payment, you are issued a receipt for your records.
Tuition is not pro-rated for months with vacation days, and you are not credited days due to your child’s absences
(ie: illness, family vacation). Money is not refunded if a child withdraws before the end of the month or if a child is asked to leave the program.
